Week 2 – Summary.
- First full week of training. Body is adapting and most later runs in sessions not as good as the start. Next week will pretty much repeat this week. Still focussing on trying to get the left arm actually swinging back. It will take time.
- Eating has been on track most days. A couple of stressful work days and the kitchen less than 10m away can make this difficult.
- Reading as much as I can around recovery.
- Has been encouraging to hear many other masters athletes from Central Coast and surrounds inspired to get their training going.

Hills in Wyoming. A few degrees too steep and not the smoothest surface, but I always find this a nice place to run. 2 * 5 * 20m every 90 secs; 5 * 30m every 2 mins. Push ups: 15, 15, 10, 8+2 with 1:30 rests.
Track rest day. Didn’t do core.
Speed at Adcock. 4 * flying 10 with 30m acceleration every 1:30; 4 * flying 20 with 30m acceleration every 2:30. Not enough rest on 1st set. Add 15s next time. Last 2 of 2nd set suffered. Push ups 15, 15, 5.
Tempo at Adcock. 200s. Starting to get warmer. Home straight with a nice tailwind.
During warm up was feeling a little flat but having others doing the same distance (just quicker) and seeing George down their training got me going. 33.9, 35.7, 34.8; 33.6, 34.5, 34.5.
